About Lenexa City Center
Lenexa City Center is a modern downtown area that combines a mix of entertainment venues, dining, retail, hotels, and offices. Located at the intersection of 87th Street Parkway and Renner Boulevard, the walkable 200-acre district is a short drive to I-435 and I-35, and a 15-minute walk to popular Shawnee Mission Park.
In recent years, the City of Lenexa has opened a 200,000 square-foot campus that houses a new City Hall, Park University, the Lenexa Public Market, and Lenexa Rec Center. A newly-opened library and a competitive aquatics facility round out this exciting area of the city, and more attractions are expected to move to the area in the future. Lenexa City Center truly is a live-work area with plenty of urban draw for young professionals and active couples.
